Wissenschaftliche(r) Mitarbeiter(in) eDNA lab & data analysis

(permanent full-time position)

We are currently building a modern eDNA lab, the innovative methods for environmental analysis and biodiversity assessment in our company integrates.
We are looking for a dedicated scientific force shaping the laboratory set-up, active, and at the same time, the bioinformatic evaluation of our eDNA is responsible for the data. 

Fields of application

  • Sample preparation and DNA extraction from environmental samples
  • The implementation of PCR/qPCR and meta-barcoding
  • Preparation of Sequencing Libraries (Illumina/Nanopore)
  • Bioinformatic Analysis
  • Analysis of NGS data, and taxonomic assignment

Requirements :

  • Degree in biology, molecular biology, environmental Sciences, Etc.
  • Experience with eDNA methods and molecular biological laboratory processes
  • Knowledge in NGS data analysis (meta-barcoding/Barcoding)

biological/chemical technical assistant - BTA/CTA Assistant(in) – BTA/CTA

(Permanent full-time position, part-time possible)

Requirements :

  • completed training as a biological/chemical-technical assistant or comparable training
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to organize work independently

Biologist

(Permanent full-time position, part-time possible)

Fields of application

  • Sampling and evaluation of macrozoobenthos samples from flowing and standing waters

Requirements :

  • secure taxonomic knowledge macrozoobenthos freshwater
  • Work experience required

Landscape planner with focus on hydraulic engineering

(permanent full-time position)

Fields of application

  • Processing of nature conservation and water management planning (FFH management planning, compensation planning, water development plans)
  • Development of feasibility studies for the renaturation of flowing and standing waters
  • Success control of renaturation projects (e.g. passability)
  • Elaboration of scientific studies on different water-oriented issues

Requirements :

  • completed studies in landscape planning, land culture and environmental protection or comparable education
  • knowledge of GIS and CAD programs
  • high degree of commitment, initiative and conflict management skills
